WinXp crashed too much to spread WanaCry

Early in the infection it was assumed that XP was the primary vector for infection. Especially in light of the press focusing on the NHS infections.

However in depth analysis shows that XP was too unstable to spread the infection. 

In fact the majority of infections came from Windows 7 machines.

Over 700,000 systems were infected globally.
