Back on my Media & Entertainment beat: This breach not only threatens the reputation of CD Project Red, but could potentially threaten the future financial viability of the company. This is not like someone stealing a pre-release song or movie, we are talking about the ability to take what has been built and quickly create a clone of the game Cyberpunk 2077, undercutting the intended legitimate release and preventing full realisation of the financial projections.
